About Jennifer Gill Fordham
Jennifer Gill Fordham was born in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Irvin and Clara Gill. A product of Christian Education, she graduated from Pine Forge Academy and Oakwood University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
While a student at Pine Forge, Jennifer was United Student Movement President, and Student of the Year two years in a row; while at Oakwood, she was Miss Oakwood, and President of her Senior Class.
Jennifer taught fourth grade at the Calvin Britain Elementary School in Benton Harbor, Michigan for 3 years, and taught her own children for 14 years as a home-schooling mom. Her hobbies include singing, writing, and public speaking. She is honored to be the featured soloist on Riverside Chapel SDA Church’s recording “Declare Your Name;” as a writer she has been published in Message Magazine, the Review and Herald, and the Adventist Women’s Devotional, and as a speaker she has given the keynote address for numerous Women’s Day Services. Jennifer also enjoys blogging and leads a Facebook group ‘Praying For Our Young Adult Children’. She is presently a Kindergarten Teacher at F.H. Jenkins Preparatory School in Nashville, TN.
Jennifer is married to Pastor Furman Fordham, current South Central Conference Director of Church Ministries and Mission Development, and they are celebrating over 25 years of marriage. God has blessed their union with three sons—Furman III (PACE), Irvin Gill (PAX) , and Jennings Walter (PRICE).
Jennifer’s desire is to use her gifts to bring glory to God, and to be a blessing to others.
